Rite-Aid rebate question 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 15
Ok I cant remember what it was now but rite aid had a deal that was like spend so much on a certain thing and get a certain amount of rebate back. I think it was boost dont quote me But I think Spend 20$ on ensure and get back 5$ spend 10$ on ensure get back 1$. Im not interested in the ensure after all the boost I got at CVS but that was just an example. My question is................Is the amount you spend counted before manufacturer coupon or after? Like if I bought 2 cases of ensure and used the 3$ coupon on each one do that count that as the amount I spent?

I saw someone online complaining about this. and I wanted to know before I tried any of these deals.

I'm certain it's pre-coupon.

I really don't know b/c I haven't done a deal like this at Rite Aid. But you could always annoymously call a store and ask them the question. And if they said "Yes, it works that way" then you could feel safe to try it. If they say "No, it doesn't" take that for what you will...b/c they don't always know what they are talking about & try it anyway. OR...wait until they do a deal like that on something you will actually use & if it doesn't work you aren't stuck with a bunch of stuff you will never use.

Does your receipt look like a CVS receipt with all the coupons at the bottom or does it do like a Target receipt where it matches them to an item. If it's like CVS they have no way of knowing if you used a coupon on that product.

all the coupons are listed at the bottom on mine.

i just asked cause i read online somewhere that a lady was complaining about it counting her amount after coupons and not before. that means I can try the ensure deal and try and spend 20$ and use a 3$ off coupon on each one and not have it count against my total. I just have to look at the expiration date on them because I got all that boost for dirt cheap at cvs this week I got one of every flavor and dont want to get stuck with more than I can drink
