I went for the first time today. It turns out that riteaid is more convienent to my house than any of the cvs's are. I drove by it all the time and didn't know it was there. My trip went excellent.

You will never be able to rack up on lots of stuff like cvs but it is a way to get 3-4 free things a week that may be different brands than we are used to, new items etc. And it was way less stressful. It seems like the limit on the "free" items is 1 so far.

They accept coupons on top of the rebates, making potential for "money makers" me I personally used 1.49 of my 2.50 overage to get a pack of cascade that was on sale.

Cascade 3.49 on sale for 2.49

I used 1.50 coupon for Total toothpaste
I used 1.00 coupon for Cascade

My grand total that I paid out pocket after tax was 17.30
The amount of rebates that I will be getting back is 15.46

Like I said I would have gotten back more than I paid but I bought the cascade since it was so cheap with the coupon and because I had overage. Plus my taxes were 1.35.

It was a really good first trip I think. The website says that after you submit for payment it takes 2 weeks to get your money.

There is also a weekly flyer every week as well as a monthly flyer.

Yes my taxes doubled my actual oop after accounting for the rebate!

I couldn't pass up 1.49 cascade gelpacs especially since my overage from the rebate ended up paying for it anyway.

If you have rite-aid that is convenient to your normal route it may be fun to do but it's nothing to go out of your way about this week. I haven't been watching the ads but hopefully they will make some really useful thing FAR coming up. It's not like i needed the toothpaste anyway. I am just using this trip as a started trip just to learn how everything works ya know.
