First off I best clarify I have a Dillon's and that's what ad I'm going off of. So you may need to double check your weekly store ad depending upon which Kroger affiliated store you have in your area.
The Toaster Strudel sale I've been preparing for and holding out for has finally arrived. This is how it works.
Pillsbury Toaster Strudels are on sale for $1.99.
There is a Buy More Save More Promo where if you...
Buy three or four and save $2
Buy five or more and save $4
So here is what I'll be doing. Buy 5 using the $.50 coupon from 1/13 doubled to $1. Subtotal is $4.95 if this is a save $4.00 on your next transaction or $.95 if it is on this transaction. Cost per box then is a whopping $.19 pre tax!
If the $4 comes of instantly then you can buy as many as your heart desires in one transaction so long as there are no limits. If it is $4 on your next transaction then you just have to keep it to 5 per transaction to get the best price.
Can you say we need an extra freezer? Pretty soon I'm gonna have to roll all my RR into a $100 GC so I can go find a good deal on a small freezer.
Now I have to figure out how many Toaster Strudel coupons I have acquired.

Ok I've got clarification these are catalinas good on your next order. So you'll have to pay OOP around $5 for the first few and after those intial 5 they are cheap from there on out til the sale ends.

I bought a freezer today! I have been putting $20-30 back each check for a freezer chest. We are a family of 5, so when I stockpile I really do it big.
Regular Price 5.0 Deep Freezer from WalMart $193. I live in a small town and they had several in stock in small appliances. This is a GE with two adjustable baskets. The only negative is it is manual defrost. Never done that before, but I'll try anything once.
I came home got it set up and about 4 hours later I was unloading Birdeye and Bread into my new Freezer. I just love couponing!

I saw a freezer at Wally World tonight but didn't see a price and didn't feel like trying to move it to find the tag on the shelf.
