I started doing the CVS thing the week of Christmas 2007. So tomorrow will be the offical 4 mos. of CVSing. I ran all my totals up to March 17th and updated my savings tally. I still have a hand full of trips from this sales week that I need to itemize and add to my tally so I can see what exactly I need to hit some goals. I'd like (I will) to hit the $5,000 saved marker as well as the $1,000 ECB earned marker today. At the same time I want to keep my OOP under the $200.00 mark. This should be easy since I have that new $30 GC from having my Rx filled the other day. So do you think I can do it? Any estimations on how many transactions I'll make today, what my grand total saved and ECBs earned will be when I return home? Should I be daring and try to roll some ECBs too? Now obviously I can't do anything with the rebates received other than pray that tomorrow is a good mail day!
I'll tell you now my desk is a mess and I have belongings all around my desk. Makes mental note that dh said at some point in time today I must clean up around my desk. I am way behind on clipping and filing my coupons since I converted to the binder system. I also want to stop at Dillons and pick up a bunch of oral care items that are free after coupons to donate to a local charity. I have one trip planned and I was gonna do it tonight and they didn't have the BIC razors or cartridges in stock so I couldn't do it. So from that perspective it doesn't look or sound good. On a good note my dh is aware that I really want to hit this goal and as silly as it sounds it is important to me.
So what do you girls think? I say girls because other than my dh I don't think we have any male visitors (unless they stay incognito). Have I mentioned it is officially 3am and I am wide awake because I need to get my other receipts tallied up so I know where I stand. Ok maybe I'll pick one of you tomorrow to be my update person my dh just doesn't get as excited about CVS as we do.
Ok it's 5 til 5am and I just finished all my tallying. I am close to my goals, very close. I need $22.29 # Saved to hit the $5K Saved Goal. I need to earn $88.46 in ECBs to hit the 1K Earned ECBs Goal. As long as I can find some of the items I haven't got ECBs on already in stock I should be good. I'm adding my weekly trips here as well because I'm too tired to go start a new post for them. I'll move them to a new one for the week tomorrow.
