It's another good week to start CVS! If you have been lurking and reading about the others deals now is a good time to jump in with both feet and take advantage of shopping at CVS like the rest of the gang. I have worked up 3 deals that after receiving a mail in rebate you will come out making money or covering your trips tax depending on where you live. So this is a perfect scenario for someone looking for a low out of pocket to start getting some ECBs. *These scenarios will not work after the end of April as some of the products are included in the April ECB booklet. Better late then never right? Sorry it took me so long to get the printables up, it was a busy shopping weekend! I always get caught up in the rush of the Walgreen's Easy Saver overlap and trying to fit in monthly ECB deals at CVS. It makes for a super long shopping weekend. I think all weekend long with my trip to Target and several CVS and WAGs I spent maybe $20 OOP. It's always the tax that kills me, I'm completely used to paying more in tax than for my purchase but boy it sure makes you get some funny looks. Oh well what can you do? As always continue to check the list for updates especially since I will be adding printable coupons for items included in the May ECB book. This past week we've got some great new tools to utilize here at MTC. If you haven't noticed yet the addition of Live Help, Downloads, & a CVS ECB Worksheet. Obviously the Live Help will be limited to when I am available to log into it, but you never know when you may catch me on there. So if you have a quick question and you are preparing for a trip check the left side of the homepage and see if I happen to be logged in. If you haven't already looked at the downloads section I urge you to take a minute to at least pop in and see what is available for your personal use. There are generic spreadsheets (CVS Savings and ECB Tally Sheet) as well as spreadsheets I have prepared as example trips. But wait it gets better, even more great goodies will be added to MTC in the future. I'm not telling what though, it's a surprise and I enjoy leaving you in suspense! On a final note with all great things other things must come to an end. So in order for me to keep up I will no longer be itemizing my every trip as I have previously. Noteworthy trips I will post in the CVS forum. I feel that I will be able to better help the participants of MTC if I can focus more on what you can do to save more money than what I have done. Another new sales week is upon is and it looks pretty good if you count the monthly book deals. I'm disappointed I wasn't able to get more diapers and do a few more deals this past week but it has been extremely hectic here. Please remember if you see anything not on the printables list that should be to use the coupon submission form to submit it and I will get it added as soon as possible. The printables thread is a work in progress so check back frequently for more additions during the week. Last nights trip to CVS on Mission & 95th St. was less than pleasurable. I was happy that I found an entire display of Softsoap after initially being bummed by finding only one on the shelf. However I ran across nearly an entire display set up of it, so I was able to finish the Softsoap deal. Glad I was able to as 2 other stores were already sold out on day 2 of the weekly deal! All I can say is WOW, it's gonna be a busy week! I'm very impressed with the new ad. I think there is a little something in it for everyone and it would be a perfect week for a new comer to CVS to start out! There are tons of deals out there.
