Well I made an attempt at teaching my mother and her boyfriend the CVS saving way and it didn't work. In return though they left me with another CVS card and $15 ECBs to spend. WHOO HOO. I helped get their card started with some coupons on such but I won't count their purchases in my tally over on the right. I will however spend those ECBs for them and when I do those purchases I'll include. Also I finally got part of my ECB issues resolved. I finally just gave up trying to get my ECBs on the 6 hour Energy Drink and the Maybelline Trio. The easy solution to this was to return them. So you'll notice a change in my total over on the right. I received a total of $8.33 back on two money cards. So my OOP went down as did my $ saved. My rebates received has gone up though as today in the mail I got a $14.99 rebate on a glucose meter. Well I let my husband (TJR) do a little shopping with the ECBs on his card. He's lucky I'm nice because he used my CVS GC that I rolled $10 to for cigarettes! All I can say is that $10 would have lasted me much longer than his 2 packs of cigs lasted him. Can't tell at all I'm not a smoker huh? LOL! So on 2/17 he had two $3.59 transactions. SIGH...LOL. Well I had this all typed up and went to hit save only to get the lovely “you need to login message”! This means I lost all my data because I got logged out. UGH! Anyways long story short CVS withdrawal finally kicked in and I decided that I needed to go tonight. So I went out and hit up three stores. My husband did two transactions in one trip the other night so I lost the data on five transactions that I had typed up. So lesson learned use Word and save often.
